THE TASK
Welcome to Digital Favelas Matte Painting Challenge!
This is part 2 of our competition series. In this part we will focus on 2D technique’s and mostly Photoshop work starting from a base 3D render. The contest is free for anyone and you do NOT have to have participated in the first part in order to join this one! The scope of this second stage of the contest is to take one of the provided 3D renders and create a totally new matte painting environment inspired by inspired by the Favelas of Brazil.
Artists are obliged, but not limited, to use one of the provided 3D renders from the first part of the contest.

The winner will be chosen by Fabio, Jason, Conrad Allen, Oleksiy Golovchenko, and Ander Alencar during the live stream deliberation on March 19, 2021, at 21:00 (UTC+1).
